Notice of Annual General Meeting
The 25th Annual General Meeting of the 2000 Class Association will be held at Keyhaven Yacht Club on Wednesday 16th August 2023 at 5.30 pm.
1. Nominations/volunteers are invited for Committee positions 2023-24
In accordance with our Constitution, the Committee shall consist of a Chairman, Treasurer, Secretary and not less than six and not more than fourteen other Members of the Association.
The balance of the Committee is typically drawn up to cover the following roles:
Vice Chairman
Millennium Mutterings Production Editor
Sailing Secretary
Technical Officer
IT Officer
Training Representative
Training Coordinator
Publicity Officer
Scottish Representative
Millennium Mutterings Content Editor
Youth Representative
Membership Secretary
Forces Representative
All Committee positions are eligible for election / re-election each year.
If you would like to nominate another person please ensure that they are willing to stand before submitting your nomination.
2. Items for the Agenda are invited.
Note: At any General Meeting decisions shall be limited to items on the Agenda.
3. A detailed Agenda will be sent out later and will include a list of proposed Committee members.
4. Minutes of the 2022 AGM can be provided upon request from the Secretary.

TONY SLADE TROPHY
Nominations for the Tony Slade Memorial Trophy are also requested.
The trophy is awarded to a person who, in the view of our President has a made a significant contribution to the Class Association over the previous year or years. It will be presented at the AGM during the National Championships.
Citations should be around half a page in length and describe succinctly what the nominee has done for the association over the year or years. The citation can highlight a nominee's performance in a single area or across the spectrum of involvement in the association.
