Great 4 races Saturday in 8 to 12 knots of breeze in bright sunshine. The 2000's were on the same course as the (fifty) 200's - so we had a very long start line and close to a Nationals length course. Starting 4 mins behind the 200's meant we were right on their tails by the end of the race, but not quite fast enough for them to cause an issue during the 40 minute, 2-lap, races. In the first 2 races, the first 3 boats crossed the finish with 3 boat lengths of each other - with Chris and Gill leading Iain and Sarah and then Helen and Andrew. In the 3rd race, the wind went a little lighter, and Chris and Gill mis-read the tide while Iain and Sarah found their last season speed. The 4th race ahd the strongest wind of the day, with another close finish - but this time with Iain and Sarah ahead of Chris and Gill. Further down the fleet, similar matched scores were occurring!
No racing on Sunday as the wind didnít come in on time, so N over A.
